Runway projects your balance forward month by month and gives you one number: how long the money lasts. No account, no server, no permissions.
What counts as my runway?
The number of whole months before your projected balance first goes below zero. Runway also shows you the month it happens in, and your lowest point — which is often not the final month, because a quarterly bill or an annual insurance payment can dig a hole in the middle and then recover.
Why mark payments Confirmed, Likely or Hoped for?
Because a forecast is worthless if a hoped-for project counts the same as a signed contract. You choose which confidence levels are included, so the number you can rely on and the number you would like are both one tap away. Pro shows all three side by side; the gap between them is your actual risk.
Does the tax set-aside pay my tax?
No. It is arithmetic, not a transfer and not tax advice. Runway holds back the percentage you set from income as it lands, and keeps it out of the spendable balance so you do not plan around money that is already owed. Set the rate yourself — Runway does not know your jurisdiction, your allowances or your expenses.
Can I use a currency I do not live in?
Yes. Runway follows your iPhone's region by default, and you can pick a currency instead, which matters if you invoice in one currency and spend in another. Runway does not convert between currencies — everything is held in the one you choose.
What do I get free, and what needs Pro?
Six months of forecast, unlimited income and outgoings, the confidence levels, the tax set-aside and your lowest point are all free and always will be. Pro extends the horizon to two years and shows the three runways together.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling during the 7-day free trial costs nothing. Anything you entered stays on your device, and the free six-month forecast keeps working.
I changed iPhone and my figures are gone.
Runway stores everything on the device and nowhere else, so it moves only if your old iPhone was included in an iCloud or encrypted local backup that you restored from. There is no copy on a server for us to send you — that is the trade for having no account.
I restored my purchase and Pro has not appeared.
Open Settings inside Runway and tap Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it. Apple can take a few seconds to answer. If it still does not appear, email below and say which Apple Account you used.
